On Saturday, June 9, the Hiawatha Storm U10 girl’s team won the Syracuse University 7v7 Northstar’s cup soccer tournament in the girls U10 division. The team came in 1st play overall, winning all six games played against Syracuse Development Academy, Syracuse Fusion (2x), Saratoga Springs (2x) and Balston Spa for the championship game.

The players consisted of 10 girls from the Broome-Tioga area (Owego-Apalachin, Endicott and Tioga Center) ranging in age from eight to 10 years old. They played their little hearts out and everyone is very proud of the hard work they put in to win.
