Do you have old stuff sitting around in your attic or garage that you would love to sell in a yard sale? Do you live on a back road or low-traffic street with no visibility for a garage sale?
If those questions ring true for you, consider giving a small fee to help the Tioga County United Way and join Home Central for their 5th annual Community Yard Sale on June 2.
Home Central is once again inviting people to pay a $20 fee to set up a yard sale booth on the lawn surrounding the Owego store, at 151 Central Ave. in Owego, and take advantage of a high traffic yard sale. All booth fees will go directly to support the United Way; plus there will concession sales to benefit Owego Little League.
The sale goes on rain or shine, but vendors can expect hundreds, if not a thousand people shopping their wares. In addition to the public vendors, Home Central will also be deeply discounting tons of merchandise including unclaimed special orders, discontinued products and overstocked items.
