The Ti-Ahwaga Community Players will present Heaven Can Wait June 1 through June 17, with Friday and Saturday show times at 8 p.m., and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. at the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center located at 42 Delphine St. in Owego.
Thanks to a grant from the Floyd Hooker Foundation, Ti-Ahwaga will also be offering a free performance of Heaven Can Wait to Tioga County students on Wednesday, May 30, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. A talkback session will follow this special performance.

As for the show, Mr. Jordan is checking in passengers who are to depart on an airplane for the Hereafter, when he is interrupted by the arrival of Joe Pendleton, a young prizefighter, who refuses to admit that he is dead. After checking the record, Mr. Jordan finds that Joe is really not scheduled to arrive for another 50 years.
The comedy begins as guests watch how difficult it will be to get Joe back among the living!
The cast includes Seth Vaughn as Joe Pendleton; Todd Smith as Mr. Jordan; Marty Reilly, as Messenger 7013; Joe Schmieg as Max Levene; Kerry Kane as Julia Farnsworth; Ron Harris as Tony Abbot; and Kristine Jackson as Bette Logan.
Also on stage will be James Osborne, Jim Tornatore, Tina Eyer, Kendra Katchuk, Peggy Medina, Isaac Weber, Gordon Wu, Sonny DeWitt, Cameron Cole and Michael Medina.
This show is directed by Linda Fenescey, with Evelyn Medina as assistant director.
