You’ll never get a chance to see Frank Sinatra, or even Frank Sinatra Jr. perform in concert, but some people say that Tony Sands is the next best thing. Sands is a lifelong Sinatra fan, and has been perfecting his act as one of the nation’s best-known Sinatra impersonators for more than 20 years.

He’s performed all over the country, and on Saturday, April 21 at 7 p.m., he will be performing at the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center for one show only. His show is titled “It was A Very Good Year.”

Reviews of the show have praised Sands not only for his uncanny vocal re-creation of Sinatra, but also for his mannerisms that help create the illusion that Ole’ Blues Eyes is back.

It’s more like a Broadway musical Sands explained, stating, “People don’t expect what they are about to see. We take the audience on a journey from the early days with the Tommy Dorsey to the main event when Sinatra came out of retirement.”

The show includes numbers from Sinatra’s early days with Tommy Dorsey, to his era as a film star. It’s a one of a kind multi-media show.

If you’re a Sinatra fan, this is one show you don’t want to miss.

For tickets you can buy them on line at http://tiahwaga.com, or at the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center located on Delphine Street in Owego.
