Eggstravaganza at the Binghamton Zoo

Hop on over to the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park for the annual Eggstravaganza egg hunt on March 31 and April 1.

This egg hunt is a “go at your own pace” activity and is perfect for all ages. Guests will start at the ticket booth and make their way around the zoo to find five different colored eggs. There are plenty for everyone.

Children will be able to redeem these eggs for candy and prizes at the end of their visit. No need to bring a basket, the zoo will supply every child with a zoo bag to hold their eggs and crafts!

Photos with the Easter bunny will be available in the Zoovenirs Gift Shop. Photo opportunities will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Animal spotlights will take place throughout the day for an interactive experience with a few of the zoo’s bunnies and educational animals.

The animals will also be celebrating the holiday with Easter themed enrichment. Come see the animals as they experience new scents, food, and toys in the shape of eggs and other themed items.

Eggstravaganza will be held on Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $6 for members and $9 for non-members.

Eggstravaganza is sponsored in part by Wild 104 and 98.1 the Hawk.

The Binghamton Zoo’s Grand Opening is on April 21 and 22, and will then be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (zoo gates close at 5 p.m.). Events and promotional schedule can be found at rossparkzoo.com.

The Binghamton Zoo is located at 60 Morgan Rd. in Binghamton, N.Y. General admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children ages three to 11. The admissions booth is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, and the zoo closes at 5 p.m.
