It's a Boy! Naming contest now underway for baby porcupineThe Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park welcomed a healthy prehensile-tailed porcupette male on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018. Help them name this little guy by voting in their naming contest!

Voting will be open through Thursday, March 15, and the winning name will be revealed on Friday, March 16. You may also support the zoo’s Annual Appeal by contributing a donation along with your vote. We are raising money to expand Patience the sloth’s exhibit in our New World Tropics building.

The Binghamton Zoo’s Grand Opening is set for Saturday, April 21. Check out their revamped website at www.rossparkzoo.com for the full 2018 schedule including special events and educational programming. 

The Binghamton Zoo is located at 60 Morgan Rd. in Binghamton, N.Y. General admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children ages three to 11. The admissions booth is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, and the zoo closes at 5 p.m.
