Vendors wanted for the Tenth Annual Fishing & Heritage Day

The Otselic Valley Fishing & Heritage Association is seeking vendors to participate in this year’s Fishing & Heritage Day on Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Chenango County hamlet of South Otselic, located along the Otselic River.

Each year, hundreds of people are drawn to this free family event to take advantage of the local and regional art, crafts, antiques, food, music and programs that are offered.

This community-wide event provides a diverse blend of activities that help to increase an appreciation of the area’s rich history revolving around its water and forest-based recreational and industrial heritage.

For a nominal, tax deductible donation, artists, craftspeople, antique dealers and sporting outfitters are invited to set up in the Town Park, while free space is available for nonprofit conservation, sporting, scouting and environmental organizations at the State Fish Hatchery.

To see a list of the previous year’s vendors, and to get a copy of this year’s reservation form, call (315) 653-7490.
