On Feb. 8, 2018, the Owego Police Department stopped Matthew J. Middleton, age 29 and with no address, on Williams Street in the Village of Owego, N.Y.  

According to a press release from the Owego Police Department on Friday, March 9, Middleton was found to be a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Pennsylvania.  

The release explained that Middleton is wanted by Bradford County Sheriff’s Office in Towanda, Pa. for Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession with intent to Manufacture Dangerous Drugs.   

Middleton was taken into custody and found to be in possession of heroin, a scale, packaging material and hypodermics, according to the release.

As a result, according to the release, Middleton was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree with intent to sell (B Felony). Middleton was arraigned in the Village of Owego Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bail bond.
