The Tioga Arts Council (TAC) will be hosting a display of art from April Villanti during the month of January. The opening night will be Jan. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the TAC, located at 179 Front St. in Owego.
Villanti created the display, 100 faces in 100 days, on her birthday, which was March 27.
In a press release from TAC, Villanti stated, “I decided on my birthday, which was March 27, to paint 100 faces in 100 days as a way of dedicating myself to improving my art and clarifying my style. I never realized this journey, which started out so hesitant and cautious, would open me up to my own art in such new and exciting ways. I so hope you can take an hour or two and celebrate these amazing 100 faces with me.”
The art will be on display through Jan. 27, 2018.
