The Apalachin Library will be hosting an Open House event on Sunday, Jan. 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. and the community is invited!
This past summer and fall, the Apalachin Library added a big new room to the library and did some much needed updates to the original part of the building. They are inviting the community, through this Open House event, to come and see all the wonderful changes and to help them celebrate.
The new space in the library is housing some collections, a designated young adult area, and a very large area that is for programming, meetings, workshops and more. The library’s goal is to use this new space to better serve the community, and they would love to hear your ideas about programs that would interest you.
The event will include music, refreshments, and fun activities for the whole family.
The library is located at 719 Main St. in Apalachin.
