Christmas Eve Candlelight Services, 4:30 and 7 p.m., Owego United Methodist Church, 261 Main St., Owego. The 4:30 p.m. service will be youth centered. Both services include carol singing. All are welcome.

Community Holiday Dinner, 4 p.m., Caroline Center Church. Bring a dish to pass if you wish.

Free Christmas Day Turkey and Ham with Trimmings and Dessert Dinner, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Owego United Methodist Church, 261 Main St., Owego. Delivery available, call 687-2417 before Dec. 23 to request delivery.

JANUARY 5

VFW Friday Dinner Special: Lasagna with Garlic Bread, Soup and Salad Bar, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Main Street, Owego. Regular menu is also available.

4th Annual Dan Manwaring Free Throw Contest, registration begins at 9 a.m., competition begins at 10 a.m., Tioga Central High School Gym, Tioga. For all boys and girls ages nine to 14, admission is free.

Soup and Salad, 4 to 7 p.m., Richford Church, Richford. Free will offering to benefit the community.
