Starting with Thanksgiving 2017, Taylor Garbage will be trying out a new holiday schedule for the upcoming year. They will be closed entirely on the year’s major holidays, to include Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
To include the office closure, there will also be no pickups of any kind for residential customers on these holidays. (There is no change in commercial pickups on holidays).
On Thursday, Nov. 23, Thanksgiving, there will be no trash pickup. Trash and recycling will be picked on Friday, Nov. 24, and Friday’s trash and recycling will be picked on Saturday, Nov. 25.
On Monday, Dec. 25, Christmas, there will be no pickup. Monday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 26 and Tuesday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Wednesday, Dec. 27. Likewise, Wednesday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Thursday, Dec. 28; Thursday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Friday, Dec. 29; and Friday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 30.
On Monday, Jan. 1, New Years Day, there will be no pickup. Monday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, Jan. 2; Tuesday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Wednesday, Jan. 3; Wednesday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Thursday, Jan. 4; Thursday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Friday, Jan. 5; and Friday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Saturday, Jan. 6.
