The Historic Owego Marketplace (HOM) will present Owego’s Holiday Showcase on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will include activities taking place in the HOM District of downtown Owego, N.Y.
This annual event offers guests a head start on the holiday season, as well as the Owego merchants who will have their storefronts decorated. Bring the kids and enjoy a variety of exciting activities taking place throughout downtown Owego.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive in downtown Owego by horse drawn carriage at 11:15 a.m. and will be available for photo opportunities with the kids. Also enjoy horse and carriage rides, caricature drawings, a variety of music and Christmas displays around town, and much more.
To make your shopping day easy, the Historic Owego Marketplace and its members will provide a free park and ride shuttle, located at the Tioga County Fairgrounds on W. Main St. in Owego. The shuttle will run continuously every 20 minutes from 9:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.
