Stray Haven Pet of the Week for the week of Oct. 22, 2017

Stray Haven Pet of the Week

“Hi! I’m Spike, I’m an older guy and I’ve had kind of a rough life. When I got to Stray Haven I was really underweight and I had a couple of really bad lumps. But now, thanks to the awesome staff at Stray Haven I’ve gained a bunch of weight and they even sent me to the vet to get my lumps removed. Now I’m the most handsome boy you’ll ever meet!

I absolutely love meeting new people, and some of the other dogs I’ve met so far are okay too. I like to go for walks, and I’m really good about going potty outside too! And I really, really, enjoy getting my breakfast so I’ll talk to the kennel attendants the whole time they’re getting it ready for me.

I know a couple of basic commands, but mostly I just want to hang out with people and take naps.

Visit Spike at Stray Haven Humane Society and SPCA, 194 Shepard Rd. in Waverly on Tuesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
