Thanks from the Candor Emergency Squad

It was a beautiful day for golf at the Catatonk Golf Club on Sept. 23. The Candor Emergency Squad would like to thank the golfers, sponsors and raffle donators for making our 2017 Golf Tournament a success.  

Sponsors included Williams & Edsall Land Surveyors, PC, who served as $500 Gold Sponsors; and Ahwaga Paint and Floor Covering, Candor American Legion Auxiliary, Candor Sons of the American Legion and Tent Rental, Caskey’s Garage, Costello, Cooney and Fearon, PLLC, Creekside Tavern, Estey Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, Finishline Automotive, Hi-Way Dairy Bar, Iron Kettle Farm, Jim’s Cleaning Service, Kirk’s Excavating, Quick’s Laundromat, Southern Tier Recyclers, Tioga State Bank, Turkey Trot Acres and Ward & VanScoy, who all served as $100 Silver Sponsors. Candor Market served as a $50 Bronze Sponsor; and gift cards and raffle items were received from the Catatonk Golf Course, Newman Golf Course, Ithaca College Book Store, Rossi’s Pizza, Route 96 Power & Paddle, Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, and The Firehouse. Specials thanks are also extended to Dennis, Becky and crew.

This event has helped us to reach our goal in being able to purchase the power lift systems for our Styker stretchers. This system will help our drivers and medics, as they won’t have to do as much lifting and it will hopefully prevent injury to them. The golfers at the event were able to see this system in service.  We hope to see you next year!
