The Newark Valley Food Pantry is now accepting signups for Holiday Boxes in the 13811 zip code area. You may sign up by calling 642-8176 or 642-8587.
Sign up for the Thanksgiving boxes must be received by Nov. 1, and picked up by Nov. 18 between 10 a.m. and noon.
Christmas boxes must be ordered by Dec. 1, and picked up by Dec. 16 between 10 a.m. and noon. There will be no food pantry on Dec. 19, 21, 26 and 28.
Pick up is at the Methodist Church Ministry Center in Newark Valley. Enter from the parking lot and go downstairs.
Also, there is no food pantry on Nov. 14, 16, 21 and 23. There is no senior pantry scheduled for the months of November or December.
