Tioga Opportunities, Inc.’s Department of Aging is holding two Public Hearings this year in an effort to increase the accessibility of the event for those living throughout the county. Tioga County residents are encouraged to attend to provide input and feedback regarding Aging services, and to make recommendations on how Tioga Opportunities, Inc. can improve its services to older adults in the community.
Join them on Friday, Oct. 27, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Countryside Community Center located at 9 Sheldon Guile Blvd. in Owego or on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Community & Fitness Center located at 57 East Tioga St. in Spencer.
Aging Services Director Christine Shaver, and Aging Services Coordinator, Amanda Kushner and Kristin Sherman will be on hand to review program highlights and accomplishments. All information gathered will be used to plan services in the coming year.
