The Candor Emergency Squad will host the 8th annual four person Captain and Crew Golf Tournament at the Catatonk Golf Club in Candor, N.Y. on Sept. 23. This will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, and the cost is $65.00 per person and includes green fees, cart, and BBQ dinner to follow. There will also be course contests, skins, door prizes and raffles.
Registration forms can be obtained on the Candor Emergency Squad and Candor EMS Golf Tournament Facebook pages, Candor Emergency Squad’s website at www.candorems.org, or by calling 659-5529. Both golf and sponsorship registrations and payments are due no later than Sept. 13.
Money raised from this event will help with the purchase and installation of two Stryker Lift Systems for two of our ambulances. This system has been a couple years in the planning and they are very happy to report they will have them by this fall. This will greatly improve patient safety and reduce risk of injury to the members.
They are also seeking hole sponsors and additional donations for prizes that will be awarded during the dinner banquet that follows this tournament. The Candor Emergency Squad is a non-profit organization; all donations are tax deductible.
This year they have several different sponsorship levels. They are: Gold Sponsor $500: four golfers, prominent tournament signage at the event, hole sponsor / hole signage, thank you on the Candor Emergency Squad and Candor EMS Golf Tournament Facebook pages, and a Letter of Appreciation.
Silver Sponsor$100: hole sponsor / hole signage, thank you on the Candor Emergency Squad and Candor EMS Golf Tournament Facebook pages, and a Letter of Appreciation.
Bronze Sponsor $50: hole sponsor / shared hole signage, and a Letter of Appreciation.
