The Conklin Raiders Gold 18U travel softball team went 9-0 last week to win the Tom Doyle Invitational for the third consecutive season. Tioga’s Mariah Culver, Waverly’s Shailei Kraft and Wendi Hammond, and Athens’ Emma Adams were major contributors for the Raiders Gold, which won four games last Sunday to claim the title. According to the Valley Sports Report, the Gold outscored its opponents, 71-8, in the nine wins, including four wins by shutout.
