A communication expert, Sue Cosentini, will be bringing a discussion about our country to Owego on Aug. 18. The discussion will take place at the Countryside Community Center from 7 to 9 p.m. and is open to everyone.
The event is free and will be facilitated by Cosentini, who is the inventor of a unique and powerful communication technique and has been creating and leading trainings for over 10 years.
The intention of the discussion is to give everyone who attends an opportunity to say whatever they want and in the process be heard and validated for their perspectives.
Cosentini writes, “Everyone loves a contest. The excitement of passionate competitors vying for our attention and appreciation, and the anticipation of a winner and a loser are eternally captivating. The current political divide in our country is no exception. However, not unlike an ugly divorce where the only people that benefit are the lawyers, politicians and the media alike are leveraging this dispute for their own purposes.”
