On July 13, the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce was host to a Ribbon Cutting for the new test pond behind The Kayak Showroom at Route 96 Power and Paddle, located at 1035 Owego Rd. in Candor.
The brand new on-site test pond makes it much more convenient to try out any type of kayak or stand up paddleboard before purchasing. With hundreds of kayaks in stock and with successful kayak/SUP classes, The Kayak Showroom at Route 96 Power & Paddle is extremely excited to spread helpful information to those who are interested in becoming more confident in their kayaking skills.
On July 15, Route 96 Power & Paddle also celebrated 15 years of success. During this celebration, Husqvarna and Stihl showcased their new products and offered door prizes.
Route 96 Power & Paddle also offered multiple chances to win a free pair of shoes from popular brands such as Dansko, Vasque, Chaco and Olukai.
