On Saturday, July 22 at 3:30 p.m., naturalist and animal tracker Linda Spielman will be at Riverow Bookshop in Owego to discuss her new book, A Field Guide to Tracking Mammals in the Northeast.
Following her talk and book signing, Spielman will lead a brief tracking outing along the Susquehanna River to look for animal tracks, then share how to determine who left them.The event will conclude at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Spielman, an expert animal tracker with 25 years experience, coordinates the Ithaca chapter of Keeping Track, Inc. and leads the Ithaca Tracking Club, conducting workshops and outings for trackers of all skill levels.
