The Board of Health is the oversight body for the Public Health Department, which provides community and environmental health services for Tioga County residents.
The Board is seeking a potential member with a diverse background who is interested in public health. Nominees will be ranked on their background of public service, professional or business achievements, and/or passion to make healthy changes in our community.
This is a volunteer position and candidates must live in Tioga County.
The Board of Health meets at 7:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month in Owego.
