Every Wednesday, beginning June 28 and ending Aug. 2, the Tioga Arts Council will present Concerts in the Park at Hickories Park in Owego. These events are free, but donations are appreciated.
On June 28, the Kirby Band will open for a 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. show. On July 5, Woodshed Prophets will perform, on July 12 Next to Kin will entertain guests, the Horeshoe Lounge Playboys will entertain on July 19, followed by Steve Southworth and the Rockabilly Rays on July 26. Triple Play with Alice Detrick will close out the season on Aug. 2.
All performances, except for June 28, will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. The event is held at the bandshell in Hickories Park.
