Woman pulled from bridge by by-stander

On June 17, at approximately 10:33 p.m., Owego Police officers were dispatched to the Court Street Bridge in Owego for a female that was attempting to jump of the bridge.  

According to the Owego Police, an officer arrived on scene within seconds and witnessed a civilian holding onto a female. 

According to a police report, the civilian was walking nearby when he saw the female cross the bridge railing, he was able to catch the female and pull her back onto the bridge.  

The female was transported to a Hospital for treatment (the name is being withheld due to HIPAA Laws).
