Bike Night welcomes 3 Finger Leroy this Wednesday

The skies were clear and the weather was perfect for Bike Night last Wednesday at Owego’s Parkview Hotel and Restaurant, and for a performance by Iron Horse out of Ithaca. The band has performed at Bike Night for the last few years, and guests were eager to welcome them back.

This Wednesday, 3 Finger Leroy, who is new the Bike Night venue, will perform for guests. 

3 Finger Leroy formed back in 2009 when Steve, lead guitar and lead vocals, and John, drums and backup vocals, joined forces with Vinnie, bass and backup vocals. Before Vinnie joined them, Steve and John knew each other since 2000 and played in a trio for eight years. 

Steve and Vinnie played in numerous bands together during the 80s and 90s and had a great appreciation for each other’s musical talents. John and Vinnie first met through friends in the 90s and found their music tastes were very similar.

They use Epiphone guitars, Fender bass guitars, and Yamaha drums to ensure they can perform at their best. 

The band regularly plays blues, funk and rock and roll classics, and they can be found performing at venues like Tioga Downs Casino, Maloney’s Pub in Hammondsport, The Rail House in Waverly, and Seneca Harbor located in Watkins Glen. 

3 Finger Leroy will perform at Bike Night in Owego, on June 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. 

Bike Night is free to the community, and is sponsored by Allstate Lounsbury Agency, Southern Tier Harley Davidson, Upstate Shredding, Armstrong Music House, The Owego Pennysaver, The Haircolor Café, and La Bella Rae Bridal and The Tanning Spa New York. The event is also supported by area businesses.
