Earlier this season, the Hiawatha Storm U10 girls’ soccer team won the I88 soccer Tournament in Oneonta, N.Y.
Seven of the 12 rostered girls, ages eight to 10, played in the tournament. They tied Niskayuna Wolfpack 1-1 and beat Soaring Capital Spirit 3-2, Oneonta Galaxy 4-1, and Syracuse Fusion 4-1 for the championship game.
