Candor Historical Society presents Phil Jordan – Memories of Working at Johnny’s Market

Join the Candor Historical Society and the Candor Community on Wednesday, April 26 at 7 p.m., as Phil Jordan reminisces about his stint at Johnny’s Market as a young lad.

His historical, and sometimes hysterical accounting of his escapades and encounters with many of Candor’s people is sure to bring the early sixties back to all who remember the people, places and things that made Candor such a wonderful part of Americana.

Phil’s wonderful storytelling ability and sense of humor will warm the hearts of many and will have the audience wondering what they missed in the years when Candor was a bustling small town with many stories to be told.

Come visit the Candor of yesteryear, and those who frequented Johnny’s Market as told from Jordan’s point of view.

The presentation will take place at the Candor Fire Hall. This event is free and open to the public.
