Book reviews continue at the Coburn Free Library

The Friends of the Coburn Free Library would like to remind the community that there are three more noon hour book reviews this year.  Each Wednesday in April brings the opportunity to enjoy a book review during the lunch hour.

While there, guests can purchase a sandwich, cookie, and drink for a nominal charge. All book reviews take place in the Fellowship Hall at the Methodist Church, which is located next to the library. The hall is accessible and there is plenty of convenient free parking.

The reviews begin promptly at 12:10 and end at 12:45 p.m.

Dr. Keith Nichols will review The Gene by Siddhartha Mukherjee on April 12. On April 19, Kevin Millar will be back and will be presenting a review of White Trash: The 400 Year Old Untold History of Class in America, authored by Nancy Isenberg.

Sylvia Horowitz will present the final review for 2017. She will review The Homegoing, written by Yaa Gyasi.
