Xcite Wrestling celebrates fifth anniversary

On Saturday Night, March 25, Xcite Wrestling returns to the American Legion Post 1254 on 1 Grace St. in Binghamton to celebrate its 5th year running. The show will feature local Binghamton native Sean Carr, who has made a name for himself on the independent wrestling scene, compete for the first time for the Xcite Wrestling Heavyweight Championship.

Carr has recently wrestled in the top prospect tournament for Ring Of Honor, and will battle in the show’s Main Event against the champion Greg Xcellent and Captain Nick Ando in a Triple Threat Match. Xcellent has battled for almost a full year as Xcite Champion, defending it successfully multiple times.

Sean Carr and Nick Ando have a brutal history, so this match definitely will not be their first time meeting. It is, however, the first time either opponents have met the current Xcite Heavyweight Champion, Greg Xcellent. As Greg approaches a year as champion, he shows no signs of fear going into the bout.

The show will also feature six other matches including a returning wrestler to the company, David Starr. Starr has wrestled all over the world and has stood toe-to-toe with some of the very best wrestling has to offer.

He will be competing against a fan favorite of the Binghamton wrestling scene, Slyck Wagner Brown. Wagner Brown has established a presence in the North East, having wrestled for over a decade.

Former Xcite Heavyweight Champion, Joe Gacy, has seemed to have his hands full with a group that calls themselves The Crusade For Change. He will take on the group leader, TJ Marconi. Gacy and other members of Team Xcite have been battling The C4C for more than a year. Axel Lennox and Rob Cook are two of other Xcite members that will battle the Crusade on March 25. They will take on Stockade and another one of their monsters.

There will be a second three-man bout involving Marc Hauss, who has definitely made his mark in the company, competing against veteran Isys Ephex and Crusade member Anthony Gangone. It will be a high impact match that will be can’t miss. Other Xciting stars you can expect to see at the event are LDC, Devon Moore, The Impeccables, Rottmare, Luke Babcock and more.

Owner of Xcite Wrestling, Jonathan Musok, stated, “With this being our fifth year celebration, the guys are planning to go all out for the fans that have stuck by us all this time. We are looking to have this springboard us into our biggest year yet, and can’t wait to have this be our next chapter in Xciting wrestling action.”

Tickets for the event, sponsored by Sound Go Round, are on sale now. Prior to the day of the show, front row tickets are $25 and general admission is $15. On the day of the show, front row (if available) will be $30 and general admission is $20.
