The 6th Annual Touch a Truck fundraiser for Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Tioga County’s Family Resource Center is scheduled for May 6. The event will take place in the Health and Human Services Building parking lot (across from Tioga County Sheriff) at 1062 Route 38 in Owego. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The cost is $5.00 per person, or a $20 maximum for a family household; under the age of two is free.
CCE is looking for members from the community to contribute to this event. Support can include vehicle participation, sponsoring a family, or a monetary donation. They are also looking for donations of supplies for the day to include water, snacks, pizza, plates, cups, and more. Volunteers are also needed to assist on the day of the event.
