Guthrie to open its outpatient clinics at noon today

The Guthrie Medical Group will reopen its outpatient clinics at noon today, Wednesday, March 15. Staff will be on site and patients with scheduled appointments who are able to travel should attend.

The following sites will remain closed: Guthrie Vestal (2517 Vestal Parkway East, Vestal, N.Y.); Guthrie Tunkhannock (512 Towne Plaza, Suite 124, Tunkhannock, Pa.); all Guthrie Med Supply Depot locations.

Any staff members or patients who feel it is unsafe to travel from their location should not take any risks. Patients will be rescheduled as appropriate and staff should reach out to their managers. All locations are working on rescheduling patients who have missed appointments due to the weather.

The Thomas Avenue employee parking lot in Sayre has now reopened and Sayre based staff should begin parking there at that time. In the interest of accommodating patients, they would like to ask any staff members who have parked on the main campus at this time to please make arrangements to move their vehicles to Thomas Avenue at their earliest convenience.

Guthrie wishes to thank its patients, its staff and the community for their understanding and hard work during this challenging weather situation. They remain focused on safely accommodating our patients and delivering care, and will continue to work to resume all normal services as quickly as possible.

For further questions, please contact the Hospital Command Center at 570-887-6015.
