There’s no place like home for the holidays, and that’s true for both people and pets. The adoptable dogs, cats, and kittens at Stray Haven Humane Society in Waverly are safe and warm, but there’s nothing they would like better than to have a place to call home for the holidays.
Come visit the shelter on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Stray Haven’s annual Holiday Open House. In addition to visiting the many adoptable pets, there will be cookies and treats, along with a silent auction of a variety of holiday gift baskets. Guests will also have an opportunity to tour the facility.
Adoption rates will be reduced during the open house event to $25 for long-term animals, $40 for cats, $55 for kittens, and $90 for dogs. This fee includes the cost of spay / neuter and shots.
The dedicated staff at Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA warmly invites you to spend some of your holiday time with the homeless pets in their care. If you’d like to bring any treats for the animals, please consider Purina Complete dry cat and kitten food, paté style canned cat food, Pedigree dog food, paper towels, trash bags, gift cards, chew toys and treats.
