Last week, Governor Andrew Cuomo posted a note among a collection of thousands of other messages expressing peoples’ thoughts and feelings on the future of our nation on a wall inside the 14th St. and Union Square subway station in Manhattan. 

According to a release received from the Governor’s office, Governor Cuomo wrote on his note, “New York State holds the torch high!” – Andrew C. “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free – I lift my lamp beside the golden door.” – Emma Lazarus – “STATUE OF LIBERTY”
