‘Not Just a Walk in the Park’ donates to local scout troops

Not Just a Walk in the Park 100 mile centurion race director, Dave Talcott, presented Boy Scout Troop 38 and Girl Scout Troops 40925 and 40234 with $335 each at the First Presbyterian Church in Owego on Oct. 17, in appreciation for their community service work at the 24-hour race which was held on Sept. 24 and 25. The scouts worked in shifts around the clock to supply race walkers with needed aid and also helped set up and clean up.
