On Sept. 24, the Candor Emergency Squad held their fundraising golf tournament at the Catatonk Golf Club. The Candor Emergency Squad would like to thank the golfers, sponsors, and those who made raffle donations, enabling the tournament to be a success.
The $500.00 Gold Sponsors included R.B. Robinson Inc. Contracting and Tioga State Bank, and Williams & Edsall Land Surveyors, PC.
The $300.00 Silver Plus Sponsors were the Candor Sons of the American Legion and Tent Rental.
The $200.00 Double Silver Sponsor was Quick’s Laundromat.
The $100.00 Silver Sponsors included Ahwaga Paint & Floor Covering; Candor American Legion Auxiliary; Candor Market; Caskey’s Garage; Costello, Cooney & Fearon, PLLC; Estey Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home; Hi-Way Dairy Bar; Main Street Spirits; Side Hill Acres Goat Farm; Taylor Garbage; and Turkey Trot Acres.

This event helped them get closer to their goal in being able to purchase the power lift systems for their Styker stretchers. This system will help drivers and medics, as they won’t have to do as much lifting.
