The ribbon used for the ribbon cutting ceremony, made of 100 one-dollar bills, was a creative twist on the traditional red ceremony ribbon. Tioga State Bank stated that the money would be donated to the Owego Free Academy (OFA) Music Department, part of their effort in continuing to find opportunities to support local communities and schools.

Dan Fabricius, OFA director of bands, was on hand to accept the donation, and student members of the OFA band, a saxophone quartet, provided music for guests at the open house.
