Cal Harris sent for anger management following latest charges

It has been nearly four months since 55-year old Calvin Harris, of Spencer, N.Y. was acquitted of second-degree murder, and he is in the news again; this time for sentencing on a harassment in the second-degree charge.

The charge, which he was found guilty of in August, stems from an incident that occurred on March 5, 2015 when Harris confronted a student taking an American History class through SUNY Broome at a satellite class in Owego, N.Y.

Harris was recently found guilty of these charges, and appeared at the Village of Owego court on Wednesday morning for sentencing in front of Judge Lynn Craig.  Harris was ordered, by Judge Craig, to attend one year of mandated anger management, and was ordered to pay $225 in surcharges and fines.

Harris also posted on his Facebook page that he has filed harassment charges against the accuser of the charge he was sentenced for on Wednesday.

On Harris’ Facebook page, he posted, “This man, pictured below, Harassed me and physically assaulted me while I was standing in the check out lane at Price Chopper in Owego N.Y.”

Harris was referring to Tom Zikuski, the same person who filed harassment charges against him.

As of this reporting, we don’t have any information on the charge filed by Harris that he is referring to.
