The Owego Gymnastics and Activity Center will be holding its Summer Fun program running July 11 until Aug. 26. Each week has its own theme that the crafts, games and activities are based on.
This year’s theme weeks include Game Geek (July 11-15), Disney (July 18-22), Seasons (July 25-29), Olympics (Aug. 1-5), Animal Crossing (Aug. 8-12), Sea Adventures (Aug. 15-19) and Rewind Week (Aug. 22-26). Fun days run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with early drop off and late pick up available for a small fee. The school age Fun Weeks are for kids five years and older. There are only nine spots for each week and the cost is $125 per week. In order to be fully signed up, at least half the balance must be paid by the Monday prior to the week attending and sign up forms must be filled out.
The Center is also offering Munchkin Weeks for children three to four years old. Munchkin Weeks runs from 9 a.m. to noon, and early drop off is available for a small fee. Munchkin Week themes include Disney (July 18-22) and Olympics (Aug. 1-5). The cost is $65 per week. The Center will also be offering Dance / Tumbling weeks this summer. These dance programs run from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday through Friday, July 11-15 (for ages 3-5), July 25-29 (for ages 5-7) and Aug. 8-12 (for ages 7-10). The cost is $65 per week.
Owego Gymnastics and Activity Center was established in 1964 and is a not-for-profit organization. In addition to the Summer Fun, Munchkin Weeks and Dance programs, the Center also offers recreational gymnastics programs, competitive team programs, tae kwon do, and Zumba classes over the summer.
