The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the Graduating Class of Leadership Tioga 2016. A Commencement Ceremony was held Tuesday, May 3 at Owego’s Parkview Restaurant.
Leadership Tioga is in its 16th year of operation and over 300 people have completed the program. Students take part in an eight-month program designed to educate, inform and empower leaders.
Leadership Tioga enlists people who live or work in Tioga County and are interested in developing their leadership skills and knowledge of local issues, as well as pursuing leadership roles in their community.
The 2016 Leadership Tioga Graduating Class members include Ken Francisco – Owego Apalachin Central School District, Paul Kane – Tioga State Bank, Jeri Macharia – M&T Bank, Heather Morgan – Tioga County Health Department, Bryant Myers – Tioga County IDA, Chris Schmidt – News Radio WEBO, Debra Standinger – Town of Owego Planning Department, and Katie Tracy – Tioga County Boys and Girls Club.
