The Tioga County Historical Society (TCHS) is pleased to announce their newest exhibit, “Now & Then” a history of business, industry, and advertising in Tioga County.
Tioga County has a rich history when it comes to business. The Historical Society is lucky to own many artifacts from businesses of the past. They will be exhibiting artifacts, along with advertisements, business cards, and more throughout the show.
They would like to offer more with this innovative exhibit. That is why they are offering current local businesses and organizations the opportunity of exhibiting their own history within the museum. Share your own story using pictures, artifacts, and personal stories about your business, the location of your business or its’ building, with hundreds of museum visitors from around the Southern Tier.
“Now & Then” will open with its historical collection on May 22. Guest exhibitions will begin in June and run through August. For your chance to exhibit at the museum, contact the Museum’s Executive Director, Staci Becker, at museum@tiogahistory.org or (607) 687-2460.
