Penny Barlow speaks about Global Leadership Now for girls at Owego Rotary Club.
Penny Bartlow, creator of Global Leadership Now (GLN), spoke to the Owego Rotary Club on April 26 about this transformational program for teenage girls.
GLN is empowering future female leaders to be a change maker for themselves, their community, and their world by building self-confidence, creativity, self-worth and passion. They are given the opportunity to reach their full potential, while inspiring others to do the same.
Bartlow explained, “This is an arts-based leadership program for girls ages 13 to 17, to develop leadership skills and feel empowered to make a difference.”
Through a series of seven enlivening sessions girls will be engaged in the possibilities for their life, the opportunities they have today, and the belief that they can be successful leaders.
Sessions are held the second Saturday of the month from October through April, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Owego, N.Y.
A new class starts on Oct. 8, 2016. There is no tuition for this in-depth program.
