Congratulations to Marilyn Reynolds on being included on the New York Public Health Works Honor Roll. The award, according to Tioga County Public Health officials, is in recognition of Marilyn’s outstanding commitment to public health by promoting the overall health of the community, preventing disease, and helping New York to become the healthiest state in the nation.

Marilyn Reynolds has been Supervising Public Health Nurse in Tioga County for 16 years and is a backbone of knowledge and leadership. Reynolds came to Tioga County from a long nursing career in public health related areas, specifically concentrated in maternal and child health.

She has extensive knowledge regarding immunizations, childhood lead poisoning, and human rabies exposure.

The Department of Public Health in Tioga County, in a release, stated, “Marilyn’s dedication and efforts are not only recognized in Tioga County but also from the New York State Department of Health.”
