The Tioga Arts Council is pleased to announce a solo exhibition of works by Elmira-based artist Rod Reynolds entitled Nature Views. On display at the Tioga Arts Council from Nov. 5 through Nov. 28, Nature Views will feature beautiful original acrylic paintings. A reception will be held on Friday, Nov. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. as part of Owego’s 1st Friday Art Walk.
Rod Reynolds paints a variety of subjects, but is perhaps best known for animal portraits crafted in his distinct, painterly style. Reynolds’ brushwork and use of layers perfectly captures the textural qualities of his subjects.
The Tioga Arts Council is located at 179 Front St. in Owego, N.Y. and is open Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
