The Tioga County Department of Social Services Foster Parenting Program will be offering their 10-week foster parent training starting Sept. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. These meetings will be held at the Tioga County Health and Human Services Building located at 1062 State Route 38 in Owego, N.Y.
This training is mandatory for all individuals interested in providing foster care or an adoptive home to children in need. There will also be an informational meeting held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10 at the Tioga County Health and Human Services building if you are interested in learning more about the foster parenting program.
