On Wednesday, the Town of Owego postponed the fireworks show slated for the Concerts in the Park series at Hickories Park in Owego, N.Y. until July 8. The performance by the Kirby Band, which was to run in conjunction with the fireworks, has been rescheduled for Aug. 12 at 7 p.m.
This series of six free Wednesday night concerts takes place at Hickories Park in Owego and is presented by the Tioga Arts Council.
On July 8, The Falconers will perform at 7 p.m., with fireworks at approximately 9:30 p.m. The remaining concerts will take place on Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m.
Each concert is free, however donations are welcome. Hickories Park is located at 359 Hickories Park Rd. in Owego, N.Y. Concerts in the Park are made possible, in part, through generous funding from the Town of Owego.
