Because of storms that caused minor flooding in surrounding areas, Bike Night was canceled on Wednesday, July 1 to ensure the safety of the motorcycles and the sound equipment. Bike Night, thus far, has seen sunny skies; so last week’s weather was disappointing for many.
But Bike Night continues, with Deveroe performing for guests at Owego’s Parkview Hotel and Restaurant from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8.
Christopher Ruffo and Steven Kochich originally started Deveroe in 2008 when Christopher won the “Binghamton Star” singing competition. He landed himself 12 free hours at Steven’s recording studio, Monkey Tree Records in Johnson City, N.Y. The two hit it off and began writing, recording, and eventually playing live together. They both are vocalists and guitar players, and primarily performed as a two-piece acoustic set.
Matt Ebbers has been an active drummer over the past ten years as a performer and instructor. He graduated from the SUNY Broome Sound Engineering program and is currently attending Purchase College for Studio Production.
Matt brings a great talent and personality to Deveroe, and is an excellent artist in the studio and on stage.
When playing cover songs, they prefer their influences The Lumineers, The Avett Brothers, Dave Matthews Band, Stone Temple Pilots, and the Foo Fighters.

Performances run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and in the event of inclement weather, cancellations will be posted on the aforementioned sites by 3 p.m. on the day of the event.
