‘Substance Use and Abuse among Older Adults’ program

This presentation on substance use and abuse will give older adults and their caregivers the tools needed to recognize and address problem behaviors, especially relating to prescription drugs and alcohol.

A representative from the Tioga County Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse will be at Tioga Opportunities, Inc.’s Countryside Community Center located at 9 Sheldon Guile Blvd. in Owego on Wednesday, May 20, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. to present this important information.

Although this is a free program, they do ask that you call to reserve a seat. Call the Department of Aging at (607) 687-4120 ext. 331 to register by May 18.
