Tioga Opportunities, Inc. hosts ‘Coping with Vision Loss’ program

Are you or a loved one dealing with vision loss?  If so, join Tioga Opportunities and learn about various coping strategies on Tuesday, May 19 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Countryside Community Center located at 9 Sheldon Guile Blvd. in Owego.

A representative from AVRE (Association for Vision Rehabilitation and Employment) will present information on how to maximize remaining vision, ways to maintain independence by adapting daily living skills, and methods to stay up-to-date with the latest adaptive equipment technology.
