The River Road Expo, a comic and pop culture convention, will be held at Tioga Downs Casino on Sunday, Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fans can meet both professional and self-published writers and artists including
Dave Bullock, an Emmy Award nominated director of the Warner Brothers animated film Justice League: The New Frontier. Bullock has also directed episodes of The Spectacular Spider-Man and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. His artwork was recently in the comic mini-series Batman: Black and White.
Brandon T. Snider keeps busy as both an actor and an author. He has appeared in Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer and Law and Order: SVU. He is the author of the best-selling book: The Dark Knight Manual. He also has written stories for Regular Show, a comic book series produced by Boom! Studios.
Alex Sanchez’s artwork can be seen in DC’s Katana series. He also illustrated two issues of Marvel’s Elektra.
Additional published creators Mike Raicht, Tom Peyer, Mike Garland, and Ethan Young will also be at the Expo.
All ages are welcome to this fun, free admission event.
Tioga Downs Casino is located along the north side of Route 17/ I-86,
two miles west of exit 62 in Nichols, N.Y.
